Phytophilia is a collection of assorted handknit and crocheted foliage, created as a dedication to the noble houseplant.
This 14 piece collection is the culmination of two months of dedicated handwork, a long-form meditation on what it means to make art by hand in an ever-growing industrial and technological age that threatens the work and livelihood of all artists and creators.
And in a time when it is more important than ever to extend love and empathy to our neighbors and fellow humans, we must remember to extend that same energy to our flora, fauna, and our one precious planet Earth.
